Season Four
E0: Fantasy Ball
Invited into a realm of the dreaming by Eirdis, the group attended a party. Magical snacks and drinks were provided, music and games available. Eirdis flitted among the group, to all eyes seeming to just be a host throwing a party. The group’s suspicions grew as their host dropped cryptic hints of strange things. After a while, they were able to coax out of their host that the Dark Entity they had been warned of was attempting to break into this realm of the Dreaming that Eirdis was God and protector of, to steal her and her realm’s power. They learned that she believed the entity to be one called Seren who also lives outside of Tekom. They assisted her in repairing her wards that prevented the dark entity from entering in return for some favors.
E 0.1 Null Expedition
The group traveled by airship to the Null Island where they met Captain Sujata and a storm elf called Pudge. On the island, they helped with chores at the island where they met and fished with the Monks Driftwood and Null and explored shipwreck for treasures. Mama Lu, an elder of the Monks led them to the Worm cavern where they examined the massive gross thing themselves and Kit poked it with a stick. They then joined in the festivities on the beach and Lucius asked the Archivist about a space ship wreck. They then took the airship back to Tekom.
E1: Unhallowed Ground
Under nails
The group was approached by some of the fae from outside the wood- The Court of the Hidden Glen, including the Collector and their King- Ka’na. They seemed to be very curious of the new comers. They told the group the forest is waking. But it seems to be afraid of something growing in the soil. There are cracks opening up like the soil is too dry and full of darkness. There are Stange voices have been heard at night. They show the group a strange seed pod that came from the cracks.
Exodus
The Group was sought out by Ysella, a zmajin, to help her Friends, zmajin that were kidnaped. They have been captured by the Fountains. Ysella explained they have been hunted their entire trip and that they are seeking out “The Zmajin Healer.”
The group tracked down the Fountains to where the waiting for prisoner transfer. They assessed the situation and then launched into attack. They killed or caused all of them to defect from the Fountains, but then were attacked again as the Transfer party of Fountains arrived.
Stolen Ground
Some of the Gold Castle Townsfolk visited the market. They were curious about everything. They brought with them another of the strange seed pods to talk to the group about. One of them had a strange dream about a bard performing for a swan and the Seed opened. The group tried to gain some insight into the strange seed pd before a group of Dark Mages arrived. The Townsfolk retreated at the sight of the Dark Mages while the Dark Mages attacked the Market. In the middle of the fight, a Guardian Champion Company named Lanius and Ada, a Meraki. They helped destroy the Dark Mages and then the Guardians started work on cleaning up the market.
Kid’s Mod
Darin and Larg were hunted for sport by Fountains scouts!
Unsafe House
The group was asked by Masgroth to check out an area where a mine had collapsed. Miners have reported hearing whispers in the dark. The Machines stopped working around the area. They sent one miner to check it out and he was found in another part of the mine, with his eyes wide, repeating a phrase: “We were not meant to see.” He died before they got him out of the mine and couldn’t be resurrected. The rescued some of Clan Marblespine miners along the way, who then went quite nuts when the group found a storage box full of Verve Crystals. Fumiki took the box and was teleported to the hospital for decontamination. The whole group was decontaminated after getting everyone out of the mine. And then Savill learned how to Null the Verve and rendered the crystal inert.
Flower Bed
Cracks in the ground opened up at the feet of the group and then closed as they approached, drawing them off into the woods outside of town. They followed them into a quiet, fog-wrapped hollow of the woods, where something old and angry stired beneath the soil. There is an altar there, covered in Blood and roots, and a group of Dark Mages. As the Dark Mages started their ritual, the trees became blackened and Dead. The group leapt into action to fight off the dark mages. Then they were joined by a black masked woman in a black robe. She fought with the Dark Mages AND the Group. When the Dark Mages were down, the figure began reaping their cores. The group freaked out and tried to talk her out of it. After talking to her, they discovered that this strange woman was Soona, nearly an adult at only four months old, and she was coming for the group and Tekom. She escaped through a dark portal.
Failing Stones
Fountain Soldiers Led directly by The High Mage, they entered the Tavern. They set their weapons at the door and asked to speak peacefully. The told the group that the City is malfunctioning and will soon fall from the sky. There isn’t time to evacuate. They ask for a computer chip from Jervis to repair the damage. The Fountains brought with them a machinist named Woodrow, who the High Mage had recently freed from prison. The group confirms the piece that the Fountains need will do what they said it would, and wasn’t secretly a weapon piece or something else dangerous. Then the Fountains peacefully returned after thanking the group and deals of secrecy.
Weird Earth
Alano, Prince of the Dancing Court joined the group in the tavern to talk about his travels, the Fae war, and other gossip. He slipped Magnolia a ring with a secret compartment that had a message in it that Magnolia is on the Fae Court’s list of possible Brides for the Black Dragon King. When Pressed, Alano claimed he didn’t know what they were talking about.
E 1.1 SIDE QUEST: Game Fest
All of the Side quest took place Within a Broken Realm of the Dreaming. The characters were somewhat aware that they were dreaming while here.
-Discarded World citizens: You may notice things you have seen in your waking before. You will remember their context in the waking world, but recognize them as divorced from their origins.
Dragon’s Eye
The Dreamers found themselves in a huge meadow of wildflower, just bursting into life at the cusp of spring. The weather was partly cloudy, with the sun peeking through the clouds in places as it rises in the east, slowly warming the air. In the center of the meadow, where the Dreamers found themselves there was a white marble floor with no discernable walls or other features. They got to know each other before a disembodied voice spoke to them. The Voice identified as the Voice of the First Challenge and gave them a challenge in exchange for their escape. The first challenge asks the group to reassemble a zmajin table of glyphs then put glyphs in the correct order. Once hey have beaten the challenges, the marble floor breaks and the cracks fill with liquid gold before the Dreamers wake, safe at home.
Theater Mask
The Dreamers found themselves on a sandy beach of a salt sea. The Sun was high in the sky. The air was warm and sweet. There was a dense jungle around the beach and a cradle of rocks protecting the cove. Where the Jungle met the beach, there was a slab of white marble with cracks filled in with smooth gold. They got to know each other before a disembodied voice spoke to them. The Voice identified as the Voice of the Second Challenge and gave them a challenge in exchange for their escape. The second challenge asks the group to open a cryptix with a code word found in the previous puzzle, then using a spy glass that produces UV light, they read the second message and were revealed a shadow reenactment of a fae’s death. They caught a glimpse of the murderer before the vision mirror broken, then the Marble once again broken, this time the cracks filled with silver.
The poem they had revealed was:
“In moonless glade where shadows weave,
The silver larks evermore grieve,
For she, the flame of Thistle Crown,
Has laid her burning body down.
Her wings, once spun from comet thread,
Now hush beneath the weeping dead,
And even Time, the thief of all,
Once Stilled at her name, and dared not call.”
Alchemist
The Dreamers found themselves in a field of golden ripened grain. The stalks swayed with heavy heads in a slight breeze. The sky turned colors as the sun neared the horizon in the west. The Dreamers stood on a white marble floor with no discernable walls or other features with cracks filled in with smooth gold and silver. They got to know each other before a metal disk lowered near them and disembodied voice spoke to them. “An Object from far away Tests with twists and turns.” Several hexagon pillars lowered from the disk and the Dreamers twisted the maze to find a clue from an alchemist’s notes. A voice informed them they’d been poisoned and the Alchemist’s notes had the cure. Upon solving the Alchemist’s notes and taking the cure, a Ghostly alchemist appeared. He told them he was the one who created the Dream Press and the Desiccation bombs. But that they were not completed and not meant to be used that way. He told the Dreamers he was murdered and his inventions stolen been by his sponsor. But he was not sure if his sponsor was a Duskwright or Jaedvir. He released the Dreamers and again, the White marble cracked further and was filled with liquid copper.
Frost Maiden
The Dreamers found themselves in a grove in a winter forest. The sky wass painted black against the white blanketed trees. There was a hush that only the snow brings. The Dreamers stood on a white marble floor with no discernable walls or other features with cracks filled with gold, silver and copper. The Dreamers engaged in a snow ball fight before A vision of a Woman, completely wrapped in snow and Ice stepped from the winter forest and onto the Marble floor. She asked them kindly to recover what was stolen from her and offered their escape even if they would not help her. The Dreamers all agreed to help her without hesitation. They Found the code they needed from the Alchemist’s notes and opened a chest containing a torn paper with a poem. The discovered that it was the second piece of the poem from before and reunited it.
“No blade, no spell, nor mortal sin,
Could pierce the storm that lived within—
But love, that old and ruthless foe,
Struck soft and sure, and laid her low.
Her heart—a chalice long denied—
Was filled at last, then cracked and died.
The forest held its breath to see
A queen unmade so quietly.
She ruled not land, but dream and flame,
And left the dark to speak her name—
So stars fall down and rivers cry,
For even fae must learn to die.”
With that, she remembered her murder, her lover, Julus had killed her for the power to make an empire and in doing so, broke the Dreaming that she was queen of. She gave each of the Dreamers some information or a prophecy and then released them back to their waking worlds.
E2: Fall Away
Bread Crumbs
A funguy who called himself Robin Red Cap came to visit the Tavern. He had some some cryptic and concerning information to share with the occupants. He spoke of Carnivorous plants in the Hidden Glen, unrest in Fae Courts and dark things in the ground. He also ate several nonfood items
Mausoleum
A shopping trip in the market was interrupted when a Mercenary group disguised as Golden castle citizens accosted the group and attacked Axel with strange magic runes that bound his ability to cast magic. The Mercenaries were captured or killed. Once questioned, they revealed the were Paid by an entity named “Della,” who the group reasons is likely Della Duskwright, a supposedly dead Duskwright known for arcane magic. Axel was treated at the hospital and through a long ritual was able to be freed from the spells.
Pyramid
Lanius held her end of her bargain with Lucius by finding him a castle, the catch of course being that it needed to be cleared out. She led the group to see Lucius’s castle, which was enveloped in Kudzu. Inside the castle was filled with Innominatam and traps. The group proceeded through the castle, Lucius threw Larg through a few traps. IN the end the group was able to uncover the curse at the center of the problem and break it in time.
Kid’s Mod
The three kid adventurers convinced granny goblin to grant them passage into the mountain in search of treasure and made Stone Fish soup.
Olympia
Magnolia contacted the Black Dragon King to inform him that the fae courts were conspiring to try to arrange a wedding for him and Black responded by coming to Tekom to talk. The whole tavern got in on Magnolia’s Plan to plan a Fake Wedding, to fuck with the Fae courts. Black is totally up for this.
Light House (A)
Fumiki was invited into the home of Icu to be employed organizing his personal research library. Over hearing this, several of the adventurers went with her. Inside Icus’ lab, among the chaos of his collections of research information, the group also found that Icu had two recently made zmajin and even more of his human animal hybrids. They also found out that he had made a machine that could produce crystalized dean and stabilize verve. The animal hybrids and Icu’s intern continued experimenting while talking to the group until the ground began to shake and the ceiling began to crack.
Temple (B)
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Seren and the Children of the Divine were performing one of their sacred rituals in their meadow. Seren opened the sky during the day- physically peeling back the sky so that the Children of the Divine could see their god, sleeping among the stars. The Sisters of the Divine took their places on the altars lining the starts of the stone spire and Seren took his place at the top of the Spire. But this time something went very wrong. The dark mage Takim hijacked the ritual and stole the power in the ritual. In the process, the Sisters of the Divine, Seren and seemingly the God in the sky vanished. Takim absorbed the power of Icu’s machines as they were at their height as well. He transformed into a horrific creature with eyes made of galaxies and then disappeared.
Museum! (C)
The Children of the Divine panicked as their leader, most devout followers and possibly their god vanished at the hands of a dark mage. The group sprung into action and took the frightened cultists into the town to be cared for and began the process of trying to see if the village would be safe.
E 0.2 Scarlet Tears
The warm and mostly sunny day in Tekom turned very dark as catastrophe threatened to strike. The Court of Fountains’ Floating City was engulfed in a civil war above Tekom, and in the chaos, the flight machines had been destroyed. In a fit of madness and spite, Wrath, their King steered the crashing City towards Tekom. Adventurers all over Tekom sprung into action. They Evacuated Tekom’s citizens underground into the mines, bolstered the shields and charged out to meet the attacking forces of Fountain Soldiers still loyal to Wrath. Scandranyn jumped in and held the City from falling from the sky as it was drawn dangerously close to the Golden Castle. Leia fist saw to evacuating the fleeing Fountain citizens before joining the fight with Lucius, Kit, Melior and Zyx. Champions and even Hawthrone, the 30-foot crocodile joined the fight as the Fountain city unleashed canon fire on Tekom’s shields. Elsewhere, Kataqua and Miphani along with other healers tended to the waves of wounded together with some of the familiars. On the Fountain Castle, Savill faced down and killed Wrath once and for all. With the King dead, the Fountain Soldiers surrendered to the Rebels and Tekom’s forces. The Fountain City stabilized above the Golden Castle, joining the two communities. With the battle over, all of the adventurers began to help get the last of the wounded healed, the damage repaired and people taken care of along with the High Mage of the Fountain’s City who stepped into a leadership role for both the Fountains and the Golden Castle.
E3: Mirror of Monsters
A warm summer day in Tekom welcomed the Caravan. Late into the night Seidr made Stormy make an appearance at the Tavern with a cranky baby dragon. Fumiki took Stormy off of the very tired Seidr’s hands and rocked them to sleep while everyone chatted.
In the morning, Mossberg let the people of Tekom know that the government was beginning to put pressure that the remaining two seats of the Circle of Seven needed to be filled soon.
Lay me Down
The group was hailed by a very upset Ysella. Her group of zmajin had been plagued by nightmares for the last seven nights. Every time, everyone died horribly in the dream. And this morning, when the group woke up, one of them had been killed in exactly the way they had in the dream. Investigating the area, they found Remains and tripped into the remnants of the magic and the broken dreaming. Here they found Broken Fae, infected with the crystal menace, lost in the broken dreaming, claimed by it and driven mad by it. They tell of many mad things, as well as a being as large as a mountain, a “Spicey friend” who thrashes and breaks their lands. The adventurers discover a draconic rune to make a doorway back into the waking world and rescue the Lost Fae. Outside, after healing and decontamination, the Lost Fae remain broken, and the zmajin that had been killed joins their ranks, seemingly sharing their same fate. They are taken by the healers to be cared for.
Soul Kept
The Golden Castle citizens along with the High Mage asked the adventurers to help them with the exploration of an archeological site deep beneath the royal palace. They were unsure as to which of the civilizations, if not from another entirely, the vault was from as land from both have been mixed in the battle. The adventurers navigated a series of Puzzles and cyphers to find an archive. Inside they find an Archival Automaton who guards the archives. Due to the fae who made the Automaton not being able to lie, it believed them when they said they had authorization to be there. Their previous monarch was a cruel and twisted thing, who was not worthy of the Crown’s power. Referred to as the Tyrant King, he genocided a lot of people, including orphans. Golden Castle eschewed violence after that, the common people unaware of the Iron City above ground that was full of warriors protecting them from the wars on the surface (which did not come with them when they were discarded.) In the restricted section, the also found the Black Crown, an artifact of great power that takes something from the user. The adventures told the High Mage about the Archives and crypt of orphans but not the about the crown and were hired to return to help them copy the information for the history books.
King Black visited the Tavern and had a chance to talk with the group. Several talked to him about the Onyx Riot and he agreed to the idea.
POOL MOD
Treasure and some dangers appeared from the depths of the Violet Lake. The Adventures then found a message warning that there was even more in the depths. Exploring deeper, they found a fisher under the lake passing far deeper than imagined, and lights in the depths.
KID’S MOD
As the children adventurers wandered up the pass, they were subjected to many strange trials. Finishing with finding three elemental keys. After Fitting them into the pedestal, they were left with the promise of more.
Take
What happens when a god dies? Seren retuned from beyond the grave, and another Follower of the Divine passed through town with a Kidnapped Stormy. Immediately the adventurers rush to rescue the baby. Seren uttered “Though dark, the night seems to be, The dawn is never far away.” And the follower holding Stormy ran as Seren engaged the adventurers in battle. The once pacifist proved to be quite a formidable fighter before finally falling and being hacked to pieces. Meanwhile, the Follower who ran was captured and Leia flew off with Stormy, stashing them in a safe location. The group then when to the Treehouse to find a distraction had been created in a few scraped kneed orphans for Seren to slip in and snatch the napping baby dragon. Afterward, the group discussed and enlisted some more help to protect Stormy. Some doubt if it was actually Seren and not Takim wearing his face and worry that Takim may be attempting to eat Stormy for the Power of the Elemental storm that Stormy was hatched in.
Aftermath
A new face made an appearance, a bright and chipper zmajin by the name of Kaida, who Zyx calls Bubbles!
Covers
The Adventurers were approached by one of the former Children of the Divine, now calling themselves the Sages of the Divine about a strange sighting of a disembodied Tail. The Sages put them to a test to prove their worth and inducted them into the Sages of the Divine before they would answer their questions. Along the way, the adventurers discover that the Sages have become extremely religious zealots, are now choosing violence and crusading against the darkness and that they seemingly cannot die. After completing the puzzle to prove their worth, the group is told that the Sages thought the tail was a snake of darkness and slayed it, it cast many spells, and then after they buried it came back to life and escaped. The Sages have decided that means that it’s been blessed by Seren and therefor one of them.
E4: Bells and Ribbons Supplies
The caravan arrived on time and without much trouble. Gerald, the Herald arrived ahead of a convoy of the Dragon Court Nobles. They shared some gossip about the court and was generally quite pleasant! They also delivered a package and message to Lucius that caused him a great amount of conflict.
Banners
Black Dragon King followed by a slew of Dragon nobles converged and made a mess of things in the Tavern. Several were outspoken against Black’s Marriage to Magnolia, to which most everyone came to Magnolia’s defense. The group also caught notice of a golden pin the Nobels were passing. It contained part of one of Black’s teeth. The group finds that while Black is uncomfortable, he still allowed the tooth pass. They also hear that there are often rumors of a hidden heir to Black, which also seems to hurt Black. And talk that there has been an interruption in supplies, some trade post outside town has been attacked.
Bow on it
A group of Jadevirs, carrying Verve were arrested and detained by the Guardians. The group was brought in, because among the other things, they carried a strange device with a countdown clock. The group began work on attempting to crack the override codes after finding out that the machine has overridden the tech in town and put it in Jadevir control remotely. Some questioned the Jadevir, a Dr “Enveztir.” They quickly connected that he might be the “Investor” Dr Icu’s assistant, Valens said gave them the Zmajin. Enveztir confirms and that there are others. He gives the list of Jadevirs who can make New zmajin. The group also noticed that he had the golden pin from the Dragon Courts. But when they get it back, it doesn’t have the tooth in it anymore. Meanwhile, the group managed to crack the override codes. The machine shut down the signal controlling the tech and sent out a beacon of Tekom’s location on Lucius’s ring and the Nightshade.
POOL MOD
The usually calm lake was disrupted by a feeding frenzy of colonies of strange creatures from the deep who rose to feed on the bounty of the shallow water!
Silver Bells
Lily and Sebastian hired Lucius and the rest of the group to taxi people in the Nightshade to Illos for and Lily Sebastian’s Wedding. They had invited all of Tekom and most of Illos with Countessa Ranavalora presiding over it. The wedding was interrupted by a large amount of dark mages trying to kill the bride. The fight carried on into the street. Then the wedding was completed.

Aftermath
The Tavern was packed for a Flyting performance! Everyone had a great time and many earworms where spread through out town as Julus Duskwright’s reputation was musically torn up.
Streamers
The group find themselves in the Broken Dreaming unprompted and began to make their way through the surreal landscape. They come to realize that the landscape itself was alive and asleep. They endeavored to keep it asleep. But coming upon broken fae it became increasingly difficult as the broken fae were agitated. When the landscape woke, it revealed itself as rippling flesh. Amongst the Chaos, they found a locked box and the mirror to be able to escape. They decrypted and opened the box to find a different version of the zmajin ritual and a dragon scale. During the fighting, Mel was killed and absorbed by the living Landscape. The group got out, then Zyx went back to meet Mel at the end of his Death Quest.
